Police have warned the public not to approach this man.

"Detectives from the homicide squad and a number of other police units have conducted a significant search over the past few days in an attempt to locate Rajab," a police spokeswoman said.

Detectives urged Rajab to hand himself in.

He is known to frequent the Wollert and Lalor areas in Melbourne's north.

Police have asked anyone who sees Rajab not to approach him and to immediately contact triple-0.
