Margot Robbie has given birth to a baby boy.

The 34-year-old Australian actress has welcomed her first child with husband Tom Ackerley, PEOPLE reports.

The couple who tied the knot in a private ceremony in Byron Bay in 2016 - have so far remained tight-lipped about the arrival of their baby, with his name and birthdate not yet confirmed.

However, the Mail on Sunday newspaper reports the Hollywood star went into labour two weeks ago and "all is well" with mother and child.

Friends and family of the loved-up couple - who met in 2013 on the set of the World War II drama Suite Francaise - have made a concerted effort to keep the news of the baby's arrival under wraps.

Meanwhile, Robbie previously described herself as the "ultimate single gal" before meeting Ackerley.

But the Barbie actress admitted the film producer changed her outlook entirely.

"I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit," she told Vogue magazine.

"And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, 'Oh, he would never love me back. Don't make it weird, Margot. Don't be stupid and tell him that you like him'. And then it happened, and I was like, of course we're together."
